3.9% of Wabash County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Wabash County recorded an unemployment rate of 3.9% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 591 people out of the 31,120 living in Wabash County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Wabash County has decreased compared to the 4.3% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Wabash County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 4.7%.

Of the 14,436 people who had a job during that time, 24 were employed in the Armed Forces and 14,412 belonged to the civilian labor force.
