Women’s Soccer headed to NCCAA Nationals

Women’s Soccer headed to NCCAA Nationals

Grace's women's soccer team earned a spot at the 2022 NCCAA National Championships, announced by the NCCAA on Sunday.

The Lady Lancers will be the No. 1 seed in the 2022 field as they seek to defend their NCCAA national title from a year ago.

The nine-team field includes three groups of three teams. Grace's pool includes Judson and Southwestern Christian. The top-three overall seeds include No. 1 Grace, No. 2 Roberts Wesleyan and No. 3 Trinity Christian.

Grace will begin its title defense on Monday, Nov. 28, against Southwestern Christian. Two days later, Grace will play Judson.

The winner of each of the three pods — along with the overall top runner-up — will play in the semifinals and championship to wrap up the week.

Grace won the 2021 championship for the program's first national crown. The Lady Lancers will be making their 12th appearance at the NCCAA tournament, including its third straight trip.

The tournament will be held at Austin-Tindall Sports Complex in Kissimmee, Fla.
