Grace College Athletics recently issued the following announcement.
Lancers down Spartans
Grace's men's tennis team picked up a 4-2 victory over Missouri Baptist on Friday.
The NAIA No. 22-ranked Lancers battled at several positions to record the win over the Spartans.
The Lancers (14-10) claimed the doubles' point for an early advantage.
Nicolas Doria and Pablo Gregoria won 6-1 at No. 3 doubles. Ramiro Candia and Fabricio Galvan earned a tough 7-6 (7-1) victory at No. 2 doubles.
In singles' play, Francisco Margaria was perfect at No. 6 singles (6-0, 6-0).
David Sandi (6-1, 6-4) was victorious at No. 2 singles, and Gregori also won at No. 4 singles (6-3, 6-3).
