Of the 1,510 people living in Bass Lake in 2019, 47.4 percent (715) were women and 52.6 percent (795) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the NC Indiana News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 358-to-310. In the 65 and over age range, there were 124 females and 151 males.
