Cost of college went up for all students at Manchester University

Tuition and fees rose 3.5 percent for 2018-19 at Manchester University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Indiana students paid $32,758 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,098 more than the $31,660 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 397 students received grants or scholarships totaling $10.1 million and 379 students took out student loans totaling more than $2.5 million.

Including all undergraduates (1,525), 1,253 students used grants or scholarships totaling $29.9 million, and 1,145 students took out $7.2 million in federal student loans.
