Grace battles nationally ranked foes

Grace College's men's tennis did battle with a pair of nationally ranked squads on Saturday afternoon.

The Lancers dropped a 4-2 contest to #RV St. Thomas and fell 4-1 to No. 4 Northwestern Ohio to close out the afternoon.

However, the Bobcats laid claim to the overall doubles point, winning No. 2 and No. 3 doubles at 6-4 and 6-3.

Javier Gallego and Paredes were dominant in the No.1 and No. 2 singles slots, with both players winning in straight sets.

Artur Pons went down in a three set thriller and St. Thomas also came up victorious at No. 4 and No. 6 doubles to claim the 4-2 victory.
